It’s interesting that when the need to score well is removed and replaced with the need to ‘get round’ the pressure is eased and the game is more fun, despite pretty adverse weather conditions. At least that’s been my experience so far.
Perhaps this is something that I can take forward when playing competitively again.
Perhaps this is something that we can all consider when we next play: relax and enjoy it, whatever the outcome.
After all, aren’t we all playing the game for enjoyment? Maybe, maybe not.
